Party Sprenger Records is celebrating a small anniversary, namely the 25th release. And it has it all with a new, long overdue album from FLANDERS 72, the GREEN DAY of Brazil. And the band is breaking new ground in marketing the new album. The band sold the marketing rights to the band to a large media company, which developed an animated series based around the band. The new album entitled 'FLANDERS 72 - The TV Show' brings together a total of 14 songs, all of which were presented in the individual episodes of the first season of the series. Fun is guaranteed. The songs are just as varied as the individual episodes of the first season: classic GREEN DAY numbers alternate with a rousing ska punk song ('Heart In Pain'), with a grandiose folk punk number, which the Pogues would be proud ('Three Punk Pirates') as well as a 60s beat hit ('Charlie Sheen') or a fine acoustic number ('You Got A Friend'). And in the episodes the band also received prominent visits, which are also used on the album. Punk rock legend Joe Queer sings on the song 'Punk Rock Pub' and Mike Huntington from the Huntingtons sings on 'My Best Friend'. A must-have for all punk rock fans. The album also comes in a hand-numbered edition of 500 in 7 vinyl colors (yellow, dark brown marbled, sky blue, white, red, dark gray marbled and green marbled). And all of this is beautifully packaged in an album cover with a lyric sheet and lots of pictures from the TV series. Gabba Gabba Hey!
