Ladrones are back with their most explosive record yet: “Combustión”, a rebellious, high-voltage ride with eleven of the twelve tracks sung in Spanish. Hailing from the Atlanta via Puerto Rico the band deepens the fire they lit on their 2019 debut and 2023’s Máquina Caótica EP, the album pushes their sound further into the red, fusing raw garage-punk energy with classic punk grit and moments of melodic urgency It’s a tightly coiled record full of relentless tempos and spitfire vocals that capture it's urgency. Combustión doesn't just build on their past—it accelerates it, crashing forward with fast-paced rhythms, infectious hooks, and the clarity of purpose that comes from choosing to scream in your native tongue. Valeria’s voice tears through the noise with venom and pride, and the band sharpens every riff and rhythm. Though nearly entirely in Spanish, the record speaks with the universal language of rebellion, with only one English-language track, “Riding Dirty,”.
