Great split featuring two legendary recordings by two pillars of black metal. Darkthrone side is made by their groundbreaking demo "Thulcandra", released in 1989. These tracks predate their switch to black metal and are a great testimony of what was the scene before the whole scene exploded. On the flipside Mayhem unleash their iconic "Deathcrush" in all its uncut glory, so expect the whole recording as appeared on the original demo. A real must have for fans of old school grim and gory black metal!!!
