Hailing from Khmelnytskyi (Ukraine), CIOS is a punk band formed in 2011. Cios’ music is a mixture of classic punk rock with elements of hardcore and street punk. Their sound is characterized by fast tempo, driving guitar riffs, and aggressive vocals.
Songs are in english, ukrainian and russian. Everything is translated into english in the inlay.
Highly critical and anarchistic, somewhere pessimistic and rough, but always antifascist and anti-governmental, the band Cios recorded the upcoming album in wartime conditions and named it “Caveman Traditions”. The name reflects the modern realities of the society in martial law, which are somewhat similar to Orwell’s dystopian world described in “Nineteen Eighty-Four”. The band says: “We’ve poured our vision, emotions, and anger into this album. In these dark times of lies, hypocrisy, and deceit, we want to be as honest as we can with you.”
The seventh studio album "Caveman Traditions" by Cios shows the spirit of underground punks who stand against wars, against tyranny, against government, against injustice, and against masters.
