Cologne’s very own hardcore punks GEBRETTER are back – with their unmistakable, clear and powerful sound and lyrics that swing between nihilistic jabs, abrasions and bicycles, and razor-sharp political attacks. Their debut album “Trendshitter” hit like a bomb and established GEBRETTER as one of the most exciting new hardcore punk bands from Cologne. Standards were set and boundaries pushed. Now they’re following up: The new 12” is the next explosive step, tackling the issues of our time – angry, honest, and with the unmistakable GEBRETTER vibe. Driving, riff-heavy guitars, a hard, growling bass that rattles your ribcage, and a drummer who plays like he just escaped from the Muppet Show set – flailing, grinning, and yet perfectly on time. Vocals that permanently sound like they've just survived a mosh pit and a throat infection at the same time switch effortlessly between German, English, and Kölsch.
