THE RITCHIE WHITES are a 5-piece band from Austin, TX. Their catchy, fist-pounding brand of Punk Rock n' Roll is hammered out with a unique style, reminiscent of early era of American punk. The members of the RITCHIE WHITES have all been around the block. Other bands they have been involved with include the MOTARDS, the BULEMICS, the RECLUSIVES, LOS TIGRES GUAPOS, TEEN COOL, and the SECRET LOVERS. Not content to rest on the laurels of their former glories, THE RITCHIE WHITES formed with the intent to form a new sound that would set them apart from the Austin Garage/Punk scene.
