Red London - This Is England LP

Formed in 1981 in Sunderland, also home to the more famous Red Alert (with whom they shared plenty of members and gigs), Red London were the left-wing skinhead band that most of all mixed socialist ideas with the working class mentality.
Anthemic OI! with nods to early protest folk and the new wave atmospheres that were so popular among their contemporaries.
A masterpiece of political punk rock which needed to be rediscovered.
