Legendary New York City Punk Rocker and lifelong guitar trailblazer Sonny Vincent of the Testors, Model Prisoner, and Shotgun Rationale has been a staple in the Punk scene since it’s inception. Rooted in Punk and grounded in Rock ‘n Roll, Sonny has created a pretty unique sonic trajectory over the decades and ‘Parallax In Wonderland’ stands out as one of his finest moments. Not only because Sonny’s songwriting and guitar playing are on fire, but the lineup on this album is pretty much untouchable including Captain Sensible of the Damned, Wayne Kramer of the MC5 and Scott Asheton from the Stooges / Sonic’s Rendezvous Band with a guest appearance by Ron Asheton of the Stooges who also mixed nearly every track on this album. This star-studded lineup has always held a special place in Sonny’s heart, so he went back and worked with multiple mastering engineers to painstakingly remaster ‘Parallax In Wonderland‘ to get it sounding the way he always felt it should have sounded. Fuller, brighter and more powerful than it’s predecessor, this long-over-due reissue is nothing short of incendiary including fourteen blistering cuts of gut-wrenching, rapid-fire riff Rock. This deluxe reissue also includes a 12" x 24" two-sided, gatefold insert with liner notes by Sonny himself, documenting how this line up and album originally came to together along with many rare and unseen photos of Sonny Vincent unearthed from his historic archival photo-collection.
