Seattle-based indie rock band Gossip recorded their third album at the famed Bear Creek Studios in rural Washington, the album was produced by Fugazi vocalist Guy Piccciotto. Standing in the Way of Control was a huge success in the UK, it reached number one on the UK indie chart and is certified gold. The album influenced many 2010's dance-punk and post-punk groups.
