Split - Hellacopters, The/ Spiders EP

This fall, The Hellacopters and Spiders are teaming up for a special split single, released just in time for their joint tour across Sweden from September to November 2025.

As a tribute to the late David Johansen, both bands have picked one of his solo tracks—not from the early New York Dolls days, but from his solo catalog.

The Hellacopters put their spin on “Melody” from In Style, while Spiders take on “My Obsession” from Here Comes The Night.

The result is a double tribute where two of Sweden’s finest rock bands meet an icon who inspired generations—keeping Johansen’s spirit alive with raw energy, respect, and a whole lot of love for the music.
