Domino Records has signed Upchuck, a raw punk force from Atlanta. The five-piece band around singer KT emerged from the local skater scene in 2018 - loud, wild and uncompromising.
With ‘Plastic’, they have now released their first single on the new label: a furious, almost two-minute ride through strumming guitars and charged vocals. The track was produced by Ty Segall, mastered by Heba Kadry and visually staged by Ian Cone. The content is all about the desperate attempt to find real connections in an artificial world.
Rolling Stone summed up their sound after a SXSW gig: ‘Everything explodes.’
