After the band - Parker Cannon (vocals), Kevin Geyer (guitar), Will Levy (guitar), Kelen Capaner (bass) and Ryan Torf (drums) - had completely exhausted themselves with the release of their 2015 album and the associated tours, they deliberately took their time with this fourth album. Together with producer Sam Pura (My Iron Lung, Elder Brother, etc.) and engineer Eric Valentine (Third Eye Blind, Queens Of The Stone Age, etc.), the boys have recorded 11 new songs that have clearly benefited from the band's rest period. Their sound has lost none of its punch, but the band's range of expression and the creativity of their songwriting have taken another giant leap forward.
