NOT THE ONES from Berlin play simple power-pop punk with catchy melodies.

It shows a metro sign in Kharkiv. «Metro» is both the title of this EP and the name of a song by Ukrainian ska-punk band Жадан і Собаки, which we translated into German.
The song tells the story of kids in Kharkiv, who are living with the constant threat of Russian missiles and drones. They spend much of their time hiding underground in the metro – angry and cheerful at the same time.
Nika Kozhushko was one of those kids. An artist and poet, a punk, and a literature maniac. She was killed by a russian rocket in 2024.
All proceeds from this EP go to «Generation Nika», a fund founded by Nika’s family and friends to support young artists and poets in Ukraine.
