Pagans - Shit Street LP

Comp of late-70s Cleveland proto-punk / hard garage miscreants back in print! Crypt Records' culled this together back in 2001 and unleashed it into the grubby grubby hands of a jonesin' new generation of DIY grime-rock enthusiasts. Contained within the grooves are 20 blasts of great, gnarled Cleveland rock'n'roll from 1977-1979. Contemporaries of the Electric Eels, Pere Ubu / Rocket From The Tombs and The Mirrors. Crack open a beer and enjoy.
20-cut "Shit Street" VINYL LP includes extensive liner notes by lead howler MIKE HUDSON, an LP only bonus cover of the Electric Eels' "Jaguar Ride", 3 unissued 1979 studio recordings, & 1979 long unavailable studio slashers "I Don't Understand" & "Don't Leave Me Alone", 15 cuts from the 1978-79 studio recordings, PLUS the rare-ass scorching 1977 debut 7" "Six & Change.
(Crypt/ 2001)
