And it’s freaky … deeky … Mc … Deluxe. 2012's ‘Putrifiers II’ saw Thee Oh Sees injecting a bit more uncanniness into their garage-rockery than on many of their previous outings. It might not all kick super-strong (though there are still plenty of barn-burners here), but easing up on the hard stuff a tad allows for some of the most unusual and truly psychedelic songcraft of John Dwyer’s long, storied career.
