Toten Hosen, Die – Trink Aus, Wir Müssen Gehen! 3xLP

Nine years after “Laune der Natur”, Die Toten Hosen are finally releasing a new long-player with brand-new songs! With “Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!” plus the bonus album “Alles muss raus!”, the five musicians are coming full circle almost 45 years after their formation in 1982: it will be the band’s last regular studio album.

“One of us shouted in the rehearsal room, ‘Let’s make one last album!’ No idea who it actually was, but the excitement was huge. We then decided together to go all out one more time and give it everything we’ve got,” says Campino. And it’s true — from loud to soft and beyond, the band delivers the full spectrum fans have come to expect from them.

For the cover of “Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!”, the band members have a special surprise in store: “We’re very happy that we managed to convince our good friend Andreas Gursky to take on the design of the title artwork. Based on one of his most important photographs, a cover image emerged that surprised both sides.”

The new songs are complemented by the bonus album “Alles muss raus!”: “As a gift to ourselves and our fans, we recorded another 25 cover songs together with fellow artists who are important to us or have become close to our hearts,” the band says about their upcoming release.
