Schoolgirl Bitch – Abusing The Rules EP

€8.00

Formed in mid-1977 by Phil Serious aka Phil McHugh (Bass) , Nick Name aka Nigel McHuggs (Guitar/Vocals) and Kid Sick aka Paul Milek (Drums). The band's name was coined by Phil Serious after he split with his girlfriend who was still at school. In late 1977 the band entered the Kaos Studios in Manchester and recorded these two tracks released in December on a single financed by Phil Serious. 1000 copies were pressed and came out with two original different picture sleeves, the first being the hand sprayed blackmail lettering type sleeve and the second was the in-famous gas mask picture sleeve. They played at Youth Clubs and Rock Venues in the North West and even managed to get banned by Blackburn Council for a brief spell, supporting acts as Boomtown Rats, 999, The Boys at the local venue The Loadstar. As for the music, their sound was the typical three-chords '77 Punk, loud and raw.
