Bands like Teengenerate, Registrators, Guitar Wolf and Yokohma's own THE HAVENOTS, not only stood out as Japan's imperial leaders in grimy, fuzz-fucked Rock N Roll; but were also seen as bands that just seemed to get it right. THE HAVENOT S/T LP released on Mike Lucas' Repent Records still stands as one of Garage Punk's crown jewels from that time period and and their newest offering 'Rock N Roll Weekend' shows they just get better with age.
