After six years of silence, Sista Brytet is back. The upcoming third album is bigger, more grandiose, and more meticulously crafted than ever before. The band continues to combine powerful melodic punk with lyrics that move along the border between the deeply personal and the political—a reflection on everything from broken hearts to the sins of youth.
Sista Brytet was formed in 2010 as a way for Fredrik Lindkvist to rediscover the joy of playing music. Emerging from his background in Totalt Jävla Mörker and Knugen Faller, a melodic punk band was born. After a few years as a trio, the band found its final form in 2014 when guitarist Lars Kyösti joined the lineup.
