Eskalatie is like that stain at the back of your fridge: every time you see it, it's bigger than the time before! This collective of 12 young music addicts from Haarlem draws their inspiration mainly from the first two waves of ska, but also from genres like punk and rhythm & blues, subsequently delivering an incredibly energetic and catchy sound. Their live shows are an unparalleled chaos where the audience and band members eventually become indistinguishable from one another, which is one of the reasons why they already have many festival shows scheduled. After the (now sold-out) single “Totale Eskalatie / Bellenblaasmachine” released earlier this year, it is now time for their first proper album featuring 10 ska and Dutch pop hits! A bit of Madness + a dash of The Specials and a dose of Doe Maar = 100% party!
